PRESS: Mediascope resumes measuring Yandex audience
MOSCOW, Sep 3 (PRIME) -- Researcher Mediascope has resumed measuring an audience of projects of Russian Internet company Yandex, 18 months after the company rejected the meters on its websites over security reasons, business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday.
Mediascope started showing data on an audience of Yandex and its projects on computers and laptops, representatives of the two companies told the daily.
The information will return to project Web-Index, the main tool of measurement in the Runet, the Russian-speaking Internet.
The researcher will start calculating Yandex’s mobile audience in 2021.
Authorized by the communications service, Mediascope monitors audience of TV, press, radio stations, and the Internet. Its data are of the core interest for large advertising agencies.
